I'm an alpha backer. I loved the game when it was single player training missions only, and I'm thrilled with the gamma.

Today I wore my Oculus Rift the longest I ever have. I explored all day, pulling in only about 50k, but I know my next session will be better.
The game runs smoother than previous versions, and looks better. The planets are amazing, the stars look amazing, the blotchiness is gone from the backdrop of space.

It looks and feels fantastic and I can't wait to see the release version!

Nice job devs! Keep up the good work and dont be discouraged by the inevitable release grumps. They will come around!

The Fading of them and all, nice!

The game runs smooth and stable for me compared to all the betas before.
Cartographic is working well and you can made enough money out of it for being a worthy profession of its own.

The game surly evolved a lot from Beta 1 to Gamma.
As i was already happy with Beta 2, i now pretty are amazed by the Gamma.

As i first got in, i just spend 100cr for trade route data just to suddenly aware of that i only got 100cr. 8)
Then i took a Haulage misson that i can't fulfill with a Sidewinder (9 LY Distance).
Just cleard save and startet over. Now i got 37k Credits. Had a few Interdictions and killed the pirates,
fully scanned 3 Systems and had 4 Haulage missions and one independent Trade run.
My Plan is to work up for a Cobra and then go to visit the Sol System.

All feels really polish and on my end i didn't get any stopping bug. Plus since the premiere and the capital ship battle i think unindentified signals are going to be great!

I've been 100% exploration so far. I love that you can evade the interdiction now, so I've avoided them with the exception of one where I got blown to smithereens.

I had no problem starting with 100cr, I just scanned a few things and made 2000cr! Also I blasted an eagle that was wanted, boom, 2000cr!

Loving this.. Ok gotta go back to rift world!

Since I'm still waiting on the outcome of my ticket, I can't play right now. (I feel it would be dishonest to play a game while I have a dispute with the company.) I hope more people share their positive experiences (hopefully some screenshots too!) in this thread, as I do intend to use my game should my ticket be ruled negative.

So keep the awesome stories coming guys!

Damn but i love this game its so much fun, and so many ways to progress. spent a little while just wandering around doing missions then bang interdicted by a drop ship decided to hell with it ill take him/her on.
first few runs at each other were scary but then i got in behind for awhile pounded away trying to keep right behind him. I slipped up and had to boost away quick check no shields either of us me 66% armour him 60% then just as i recharged shields and turned for the next pass 3 security ships turned up to help out all little sidewinders like me. Spent another 5-10 mins pounding away but got him in the end 20k bounty 9k repair and reload bill but wow what a battle.
