Oh look, Gamma 1.01

I was just about to land at a platform and suddenly I got kicked out of the game with a message that I need to upgrade. So I exit and the launcher still says Gamma 1.0. But when I pressed play it started pulling some files down... and now I'm in Gamma 1.01. Though I can't actually connect to any servers... :|

I wonder what has changed? Time to check out the changelog if I can find it and if the servers are still offline.

However am fairly happy today as I've got some credits and somehow got an 11k bounty when I made my first kill first time out in my (fre)Eagle (though I'm sure the two security ships that turned up may have helped). :) Now as soon as I get a stable platform to play on I might be able to do a system view without crashing.

Well GAMMA 1.01 is now launched, I got booted without warning as I left a station. Now re log on and hit play but I cannot start as I can't connect to the server? Ummm. Surprised that there is an update so soon after Beta 3.91?

Are we seriously complaining about getting regular updates to our non-released, test build software? You wanna get a grip.

This is kind-of funny because my experience with Eve in beta was the same. It took CCP about 18 months to get a proper patch-note system up and running. Patches to fix serious errors, stability issues or major exploits are a bit different though. They need to happen right away usually.

Quite agree... Get a grip guys. I was landing too and got chucked out. Didnt see to be a countdown warning this time. But hey, the world continues to turn

So what? They still have managed this 1.01 in the worst possible way

No announcement

No detailed log before patch hits or while it hits (they posted on the forum cos they got an afterthought...is sooo obvious)

They are bad at communicating and at programming it seems, launching a patch at PEAK TIME and noone is able to login

Slow clap to frontier really

Too many blinded fanboys here, am i the only one that want a gaming experience on a 21th century standard?
