Does Elite beta work on linux at all?

Does it work through wine or PoL through anyones personal experience. If it does I was thinking of buying the beta access.

Also does anyone have any idea if they made a linux version and you buy the windows version would you need to buy another copy later or just download a new client?

Nope - well not on Wine anyway. I have Ubuntu and Mint installed but have to boot into windows for Elite (it's the only time I use Windows).

Means I have spent more time in Windows over the last 3 months than Linux.....
