What Should I do, Waiting?

I'm not sure Elite will be the right game for you. There's no quick way to get the better ships, you have to earn them (aka 'grinding') and it will take time. But hey, over at SC you have more liberty and can jump right in with the bigger ships or even a destroyer if you are willing to put down a bit of cash.

the no local offline mode is really a problem.

you sheep if you like to have no option and no liberty.
I really dont understand.

Explain: That had to stop the off-line plan because it wouldn't work with the rest of the game.
They won't do it later. It's a design decision. Sorry. Next problem?

I believe is more grinding (aka 'earn them')

Because you are alone. you can not set up enterprise buy other ship for your employes.

you will be always a single Ship.

In X3 you could get rich really fast by exploiting your market.

Sigh, this is not X3 or EvE, or Star Trek Online, or skyrim, or Call of Duty, or Barbie Princess Playland... THIS IS SPARTA..... erm ELITE: DANGEROUS!!!!!

To echo what others have said, this game is about the journey, if you want a game that allows you to get everything quickly you may need to look elsewhere. We will miss you not being in our universe, but like I have told many other people this game is not for everyone.

Good Luck and happy hunting.
