That is the question! :p

My hands itch to play gamma, but i'm refusing to play it by fear of a wipe, because right now i really really really want to start exploring D: so eager, so painful! :eek:

There will be a wipe, I'm pretty certain of that. Just treat it as a warm up. Get your mistakes out the way while it doesnt count :)

play but don't take it serious.....i'm simply using it to map black markets and general world imports exports...these things shouldn't change.. i'm also practicing evading interdictions and smuggling.....

some guy cheated 50m creds already its gonna be wiped

im holding off too.

my journey will probably take me a month, i'm going 25,800ly to the galactic dead center

if tey wipe you still have visited the systems , can make screenshots and the like , far as i know the game doesnt "remember" wich system you have been too anyway once you deliver data. :)

It does remember. If you explore somewhere and then go back you dont need to reexplore it.

Go have fun, it doesn't matter if there's a wipe. It's the fun that counts.

hey man, jump in with both feet, get to grips with the game, formulate a plan for the release, after the last wipe (start of gamma) I started with sidewinder and 100 credits and in 2 days had a cobra mkIII with 2 beam lasers and a missile rack, so I'm happy with my plan when starting out again and confident I can execute that plan when it's released, jump in have a blast!

Play, use the time to practice on your piloting skills, mining skills, trading skills, dogfighting skills etc etc

gamma is pretty much the same as betas. i will just probably mess around with pirating and dog fighting and hold on the exploring until dec 16 then :D
