Backer-only forums

It would be great to have a backer-only section of the forums, so that the influx or new players won't completely mess up the forums with repeated threads of basic stuff. just a small subsection of the general private for the backers, and maybe even another for Alpha/Kickstarter backers.

Yes! It's been suggested before, but I unfortunately see little momentum in that direction.

Another option may be to add a 'ARE YOU A NEW PLAYER' forum page, where the newbies can ask all the questions we've all asked ages ago. And then have armies of volunteer Alpha and Beta players ready to answer and clarify :)

I'd prefer to read new players' questions over and over again, rather than older players whining all over all those negative & pointless threads on these forums... just saying...

To be honest you're not really missing much. Nobody ever posts there anyway.
