It's a great achievement for sure but is anyone else slightly disappointed that the centre of the galaxy has been reached so quickly? I know it's just a game and such, but the allure of setting out exploring has been rather put into shade for me. I don't know what I expected but I didn't expect it to be quite so quick. a couple of months perhaps, but a week or so?? Still, hats off Cmdr Zion

- Numbers are off, way to few solar masses. should be 4.1 *10^6 or 4.1 Million or at least 1.2 Million. Estimates vary. 10K is a joke.
I just want to know how many times you were interdicted while you were exploring the system.
How did you like the Risk of going out there. I wonder how much money you will make when you get back to station and sell your stuff.
Actually this highlights more problems with the game than advertises its greatness for me.
I mean if we go off on these great expeditions it is supposed to be out into deep dark space alone into undiscovered territory with unknown surprises but what we actually is get is copy and paste gameplay from the very first system with immortal NPCs just randomly spawning and interdicting in the middle of nowhere and without reason or "intelligence" which totally breaks the immersion, makes the idea of any of the galaxy being unexplored ridiculous and highlights the wafer thin depth of the game in its current state.
Well, of course: Betelgeuse has about 1000 solar radii. Sgr A* has not more 40 (in reality)! It's definitely tiny though. Betelgeuse was pretty damn massive even at 10,000 LS out. This thing was little more than a dot at that range.
Wow, just wow.So scary, yet so beautiful. Just think of its size, it holds a whole galaxy together! Nice Post!
Well - actually the whole galaxy holds the whole galaxy together - since mass attracts mass...![]()
