if you leave the instance and come back does the ship then "re appear" ?

Yes I had to leave a few times and upon my return instance was reset but I was the only player in the vicinity maybe you will enter pre existing instance if more players are around.
I shall be taking some proper pics as soon as I get a sidey in there.

Awesome, so you can fly around the ship without being attacked? Fancy paying a visit in my type-6, don't really want to get involved in any conflict.

If you don't choose a faction you should be okay, not sure what happens if you get caught in a crossfire though. This event is just utterly epic, I've never been in such an intense battle especially when you have a Python flying by shooting off volleys of frag and the sound effects loud in your headphones.

Thanks, one last question. Any stations nearby selling good upgrades? I have the cash to buy and upgrade a Combat ship once I get there.

Yeah try MACAY it has a decentish selection it's right next to HIP 22500. HIP 22500 itself only has two outposts with no outfitting. Maybe I'll see you there.

Nice one dude, will head back to SOL, sell my Eagle and then make the 22 Jumps to HIP 22500. Btw, my CMDR name is FLEX1978
