As we all are aware, there are three main factions controlling the human-populated space of Elite: Dangerous. Among other things, we are free to side with one of them, thus improving our reputation with a faction of choice by doing missions, selling exploration data, taking part in conflicts, etc. Now, some of you pilots are going to zig-zag away deep deep into unknown, once the final wipe is over with, and we will hardly ever see you again. Good luck out there! For the rest of us working bees hauling cargo, notorious bounty hunters and their pirate counterparts, frontier explorers, plotting dots on the map, - there probably is a sector in the galaxy, within the zone of control of one of great factions, which you might call your home. Myself, I chose Federation, as the birthplace of humanity tickles that certain string in my heart. However, the buzz is that imperial couriers are one of the finest spaceships in the galaxy, and, if ever a shady nobleman from Achenar will approach me with a 50% discount on the Courier in return for some "minor" service placing me at odds with the Federation, i might not be able to resist.
