Has anyone see this in the rift yet? Aside from the experience in the rift when in this situation I'm curious to know what type of performance hit it is. I assume it's similar to a space station but if it's less demanding that would be quite nice. I'd like the ability to crank up the settings for something like this.

Haha, dude I just flew to HIP 22500 from SOL (120LY) Just to see that Beast in the Rift. The sound it makes when it drops out of Warp is beautiful. And the freakin size off the thing in the rift!! They really should have more of these beasts cruising around.

Plan to hang around this area for a while, lot's of conflict Zones.

No FPS hit with the Cap ship blasting the (BLEEP) outa all the enermy ships, my settings are maxed with SMAA. I52600K Clocked at 5.1ghz, 780TI

You could also ask Tim (the creator of the video) - he has a DK2.

I'll get there eventually, it's a stones throw from where I am, but as I assume a wipe, I'm trying to not play the game and thus, am still completely broke atm.

You should grab yourself a cheap Eagle and head over, I parked my up my Type-6 in Altarni, now just do warzone missions with an Eagle into Altarni 4 & 6 (not far from HIP 22500)

Have always been a peaceful trader, will use the next week for Combat practice until release day.

Its pretty amazing to be honest. Imagine two or three of these and Federation Juggernauts together.. That would be one epic moment.
