So, yeah. There has been a civil war in our home system over the last week or so, for those who haven't noticed/known.
Maybe its an unintended consequence of the two main factions in our Homeworld being 50%-50% influence; since they are so close to be the most influential, it spilled out to a sort of civil war to determine which way it will go.
The Factions in question:
Federal Congress.
I assumed these were the Federation leaders, the official face and ruling party of the Federation itself.
Mother Gaia.
Mother-Earth sort of fundamentalists... at least how I interpret them. They may be a part of the Federation, for a more extreme "Earth FIRST among equals" sort of stance, which the other faction objects to... to the point of weapons firing
It seems Mother Gaia is winning the conflict, since they control most of the stations in the system.
And it doesnt help that the conflict zones are BROKEN (only one faction to pick in them: Mother Gaia or NONE. The zone is a formation of Gaian and Non faction ships circling each other peacefully
)... although that is possibly the intended result of one faction "winning"??
And all the factions ships scan as "Federal Navy Ship".. so yikes on that regard.
But anyway, what do YOU think the story is, going on over there (here)? Lacking any sort of newsletter/galnet information, I guess we need to fill in the gaps ourselves.
