Starting Options; what are they?

Well, now you would have to clear your save and start again. Then you are presented with start options.
Well that kind of is my point. I have wiped my save recently and did not get an option other than mercenary pack. Is there an alternative and if i should have had an alternative i will raise a ticket.
As i have not played too much gamma i am considering clearing my save but wanted to know what the options are for the 16th.

Hmm, it definitely needs to be clear. I watched a stream, when the guy cleared his save and had all the options...
If you didn't back on the kickstarter, then I don't think there are any more options?

The pledge tier rewards (including starting locations / ships) remained available in the Backers' App (after the Kickstarter finished) until just before Alpha 1.0 was released (early December 2013).
I am not interested in the ships but more so the location options. (since i missed Kickstarter) Just interested to see if it is worth my while starting again to get nearer to where i want to be gaming or if i should just crack on as is. Just seems so vague on what is coming next week. Would have though there should be full announcement a week out from full launch.
I'd just crack on, since its enough to get an A or B FSD to simply travel to where you want to play, no?
I spawned in Chemaku. played for a while, till I got a Cobra and then went to SOL. SOL is awful crowded though, which makes trading hard... all the stations that are selling stuff are at low supply and all the stations that are buying stuff are at low demand, which squeezes your profit and also shrinks the value of procurement missions offered.
