Hyperspace - are we alone?

This has been bugging me for a couple days now...

I was making a jump a couple of nights back, nowhere special, I've become use to the visuals and the ambient sounds and was just passing time until the drop out.

There was a noticeably different sound. Noticeable because it had a distinct 3d quality to it that separated it from the background ambiance. It was enough to draw my vision as it sounded like it was passing on the left, as I looked I could swear I saw a bluish blurr separate from the background, but it all happened very quickly.

I've since being paying much more attention to hyperspace. At times it seems there is some spacial audio passing us, but I've not heard anything like I remember.

Anyone else seen or heard anything unusual in hyperspace?

Are we really alone?

Would be great if they put something like this in to signal the Thargoids will soon be with us. I'm sure it's not and can't say I've seen or heard anything unusual but I'll pay more attention now.

It would be a great way for the encounters to start subtly...I thought if its not a feature, I should be! :)

I am prone to looking for such things as I've set my end-game on hunting Thargoids.

-But thats what caught me about this encounter, I wasn't paying attention at the time, it was enough to draw me to it.

Its only a matter of time.

We should attempt to find them before they find us! ;)

Have you recorded it and tried running it in reverse? Subliminal messages from our Thargoid overlords?

I had a feeling that the hyperspace sound changed between beta and gamma - like some kind of "whisper" sound was added?

I believe so too. The stars have a 'song' too now, really cool.

I was critical during beta, but now the sound is one of the best features imo. The guys have done an incredible job.

Captain, you've done a lot more traveling in hyperspace than anybody else here. Is there any truth to the stories?
What stories?
Well, you know things happen out there. People see weird things. "Universe Today" had a story asking if something was living in hyperspace.
Nothing can live in hyperspace.
Well, what do you say, captain?
Well, living? I don't know about that, lieutenant. But there's something out there. And I think it's stranger than any one of us can imagine.

Wouldn't that be just sweet... a warp-bubble region of space where the ruinous powers lurk and prey upon the unsuspecting travelers.

Getting interdicted during hyperspace...

Oh well, so far the Emperor protects well enough. NOT THAT EMPEROR.
