Gamma 2.0 broke Oculus Rift support (memory leak?)

I can play smoothly for a few minutes but then I start losing tracking intermittently, and the frequency increases until finally positional tracking fails permanently and I'm left with the desaturated orientation-only headtracking.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I never had anything like this happen with earlier versions.
I'm running the same 0.4.4 runtime as with Gamma 1.x, same drivers, same everything.
Have no touched the hardware - have not touched the software.
It feels like a memory leak or something since the effect is cumulative like that.

I'm left with desaturated 3 axis tracking only on my DK2, as well. I haven't tried playing in it long enough to experience a memory-leak related crash, but yeah, it looks like OR support is broken again. No changes to my software/hardware since g1.05.

Have you got the latest Rift firmware/drivers? They were updated over the weekend, I think.
.
I noticed in the release notes for Gamma 2 that they'd updated their Rift SDK, so figured it may be a clash.

...and Oculus release notes for SDK 0.4.4 specifically mentions fixing a memory leak. So get the latest SDK and see if that helps things.

0.4.4 here too. maybe a couple of hours. no problem whatsoever. (though a bit of jitter for a few seconds after getting an interdiction attempt 20mm from station (that one is in a 3 planet orbiting each other crazyness, two with rings, and all with moons))

I think I said..

Firmware was already updated on the first runtime update (0.12).

I haven't run long enough to experience a crash as it's not comfortable to play with 3DoF.
Maybe I'll try leave it running today.

I played for 2 hours solidly yesterday evening and had no issues. I had already upgraded to the new runtime. As has already been mentioned it seems a lot smoother so the frame rates must be more consistently higher.

I am experiencing the same issue.
Never happened until this week.
I forget after which release exactly, but definitely since Gamma and never before.
Had a blue screen crash too just tonight.... Some kind of memory failure. I should've written it down while I could, but I was already too tired to care at that point.
