I'd like to get another "Mercenary Edition" as a gift for my brother. How do I do this?

Is there a way to purchase items in the store as gifts?
Not currently, although this is something we are investigating. For the moment anything you purchase through the store will be fixed to your account, so we recommend not buying anything that you intend to offer as a gift.
You CAN buy gift cards, which you could give to your brother to buy the game, but if you want to gift the Mercenary Edition (which I'm not sure when it becomes unavailable) - you can either sit down with your brother and pay for it on your card when he's logged into his account (if he has one), or make him an account and buy it on that account using his email (if you have access to it and say - "Surprise!") when he checks his email next...

thanks, I think I'll go the email surprise route...
I thought this too, but cannot find where to purchase said Gift Card. If it is there, it's pretty hard to find - I can find the option to redeem a gift card, though.
