I'm looking to make my way to a new system to make my home, and to start bringing up my Empire rank. I'd like to know which Empire location is most frequented by players.

Yeah I'd like to know the Empire Eranin-iBootis-Aulin equivalent too. But I'm thinking the systems near Lave would be a good starting point to finding out.
Looking on the map it seems Achenar is the biggest Empire location, but it requires a permit. I'm assuming in the long run, thats where everyone will be going if they are empire. Im thinking of going to the neighbouring systems but Im still iffy of moving so far away from the playerbase lol
Achenar is the capital of the Empire so it's like Sol. But it's no Eranin.

In FE2, "Facece" was a great system of the empire. A large military market

In FFE this is where Id go to gear up my asp. Class 3 military drive - 4MW beam laser and plenty of shield gens, with plenty of room left for a few tonnes of slaves for the 500cr/ton profit.

Sowioo is an interesting Imperial location. Lots of planets (I mean a lot), lots of stars, asteroid belts, and two well fitted stations. Could do a lot worse.
Keep an eye in the news feeds in game or offline, the Empire location "most frequented" will probably be driven by those feeds.
