The free Cobra paint jobs show up in game for me, just not the Viper one.

I was hoping to see the issue mentioned in the patch notes, didn't see it. I assume it would take a patch to fix whatever issue is causing it.

I've since moved up to a Cobra, so I'll have to wait for FD to let me know the issue is fixed I guess.

Why still no Lakon 6/ASP/7/9 paint jobs? You're missing out on the cash :p

Well, and cockpits would be a pretty good idea.

Especially a black cockpit interior that doesn't reflect so much in the sun and CLEAN WINDOWS! :S

Can we have a window washing service in stations, with some girls wiping down your windshield? Well, there IS wind in space... solar wind... you know... :cool:

If the windows on my car are dirty or smeared, I get out at the next gas station and clean them. I just LIKE it when the glass is really really clear. It makes things you see through it more vivid and real!

I expect these will be a 'work in progress' and we'll likely see some really nice designs and decals for our ships. :)

Hopefully they already have some new paint jobs planned for launch day on Tuesday. I personally wouldn't mind seeing some paint jobs added for the Asp. They will go well with the Cobra, Hauler, Eagle & Viper paint jobs i've already bought :)

trust me, DEVS r working 24/7 just to meet the rushed release date for Christmas so they aint got no time for "paint."

New ship paintjob request

FD - I want to get an Adder, but looking for this specific paint job:

overall black, but with a thick red stripe which goes down each side, horizontally initially, but then rising diagonally at the back. I will pay £8 for this.

2 weeks, still no paint job... they really need to hire more support people, this is paid money and no product, how tolerant do we need to be??

[REQUEST] Applying your own paint jobs

Some really nice paint jobs available for the ships, and decals. Would be cool if you could upload your own decals (as long as they're not offensive). Also, I'd love to design my own paint job. Possible feature would be a paint job we could design that was for sale at our home port for in-game credits?

Would be nice to have the ability but would sort of remove a source of income for FD.
The shop is the only funding beyond sales.
Also it would be very open to abuse

I could not disagree more strongly.

Offensive skins have no place on a respectable website but a cut-throat game simply wouldn't be complete without them. Also, potentially copyright-infringing ones. So long as it's user-generated and not commercial, i don't see a problem.

I've daydreamed of making my own skins (it puts the lotion on..). Nah but serioushly, it'd be proper wild west with some player customisation..

One other thing to consider: unless it auto uploads to the server and then auto downloads to every other player, you would be the only one to see it . I don't see an issue if it's just for you to see, but I don't particularly want 1000's of little skin files pushed to my hard drive.
