Apparently EA has realised it has a bad reputation... The phrase 'Too Little, too late..' perhaps comes to mind...

... not to speak of Origin (worst platform ever).
I have never understood why MUST install Origin, just to download my Sims 3 purchases (I can still launch Sims 3 without starting Origin so it does beg the question, why?)

Not to mention the farse that is SimCity. I had it as a birthday present, the game is wonderful but the implementation is the biggest joke in the history of the entire industrysuch a shame. Maxis should split.
EA's comments remind me of an alien out of Mars Attacks. The one with the speaker squawking out "We come in peace" whilst blasting all asunder.

I remember a time when Electronic Arts was a source of wonder and goodness. They made a lot of good games before they succumbed to the dark side. Man, I'm old.![]()
Surely the best possible solution, if you don't like a games publisher, is to refuse to buy their games (regardless of how much you like a title)?

Been a while since I saw that version of EA's logo and your right metatheurgist, back then EA was a great company making great games. I still recall the first EA title I bought for my Amiga and it wasn't even a game, Dan Silva's Deluxe Paint. Had hours of fun with that back in the day.![]()
