I think he means in-game, not the main screen. You can still see the version number flying around in space, which you really shouldn't.

I know this isn't really the right time or place to ask but I'm puzzled about the story line stuff.
So the Emperor is dead or something and they may be a call to arms or a war or an invasion or some such. Personally I'm only going to have a couple of hours a week to play the game while lots of others will probably be playing 25 hours plus a week, how do the story events pan out? I presume that people who aren't in game much will just miss everything? Never played an MMO before, how does it normally unfold?
