Lave Radio's Drew Wagar asks sons about E:D, sound more like Star Citizen

I only now managed to take time and continue listening into Lave Radio #10. Found it funny how in the community corner, the sons of Drew Wagar wish for a lot of features which have been confirmed for Star Citizen, not for E:D as far as I know :
- taking control of turrets while a pilot is flying and
- boarding parties to take over other ships.

Well, they are young and are looking to have "stuff to blow up". SC is probably more brutal while ( and that is my hope ) E:D will be more... poetic ?

I'd like to see both those things in E: D too and I'm not young.
I vaguely remember some ruminations from FD about multiple people being able to co-op on one ship although it might have been a dream :)

I've argued that if they do the EVA addon then they should make it compelling. If you just walk around your ship or a space station or clamber around the hull of your ship it will be interesting for a few minutes and then never used again. Being able to board an NPC's or even other player's ship with your cutlass between your teeth will be good fun.
Obviously you can only board player ships in the PVP group/server as the PVE only players would poop a brick at the prospect.

I get the feeling that if you've been on the show more than once you might be considered "part of the furniture".

And before psykokow says it, no, none of you get to sit on me.
