yeah, ok now i get it ... you want any to any around a specified system ... but that is not integrated i think.
perhaps you could use csv export and write your own formula in spreadsheet to get that

any to any in a single system is possible, just set the same system as the to/from and the BPC will show intra-system runs.

I can't see any obvious way to correct this.

By paying attention to what you're doing and double checking your input before clicking Save? That seems pretty obvious. If you don't have time to do it correctly, don't do it at all.

It does. Launch the BPC, disable Auto-updates, go to Options, clear the database. Now it'll only store your own data. i.e. local mode.

Slopey, I see you created an "Offline Mode". That's a good idea, but could you also make an option for a "private version". In other word, a way to change the database path, so we can use it only with our team. Public version is the best idea, but since it's manually updated and people are dumb, it will get messed all the time

Also, seems you are not able to grab the prices automatically anymore. Is this your decision (aka Frontier asked you to do so) or a Frontier decision to remove it ?

You wouldn't be able to have a "team" mode, the database is local to your machine. There'd be no way for multiple people to download from that, so it's not possible. In order to do that, you'd have to host your own backend server, but I'm not interested in making the backend available I'm afraid.

FD asked me not to, and it's against the T&C after they were updated, so I don't. Simples.

The date sometimes 30% or so, doesn't change, when I update the data.
I added and saved the data. Clicked download data as well, but nothing changes.

Ah I think I found the mistake, the station name was wrong in the system. Happened to me a couple of times now *grrr!*

i`ve got a strange problem,i cant run the tool on my gaming-pc.win-7x64
on my laptop it works fine.
i tried all previous versions too in beta and gamma,it installs normal but after starting the shortcut

i`m getting every time the error "slopey`s ED BPC tool has stopped working"

Since this was asked a few times already:

To all people asking how to delete data:

You can't delete stations or systems, only Slopey can do that, otherwise some joker would delete the whole database. But Data only has a shelf life of 3 days, so bad data is gone after three days from the DB. If you find incorrect prices, you can't delete them, but simply add the correct price, since your data is newer it will overwrite the old data.

What you're suggesting, is a method where you input a given system, lets say "Lugh" and a distance "100ly" and then it maps all trade routes, as if you had selected from ANY to ANY, but only routes in which both systems are within 100ly from lugh. is this what you mean? because that would be fantastic!

Deinstall BPC, then delete the folder to remove any files that still linger there and try again, if it still doesn't work, you might need look into reinstalling the framework that was posted a couple of times already. Hope it helps.

How is that different from setting "Lugh" as the From, and "ANY" for To, and then setting "Within Distance" to 100?

I think that's an OCR issue possibly - I can't believe people have the time or patience to handball wrong data repeatedly, or maybe they're just putting it in wrong as they're not taking enough time to do it properly.

I'm looking into allowing you to delete data from your local database.

After converting the .xlsx to .csv, when trying to import the new .csv, Slopey's gives me an "Unable to parse the CSV file..." error.

Would it be possible to import the .xlsx instead in the next update?

Or is there something I'm missing to get the two current versions of software to work together?

Forgive me but what does T&C stand for?

T&C = Terms and Conditions. I'm convinced that FD couldn't really give a shiny **** if you take market prices directly from the game, they just have to say that its not allowed for legal reasons.
