Newcomer / Intro The Eagle has landed........or docked somewhere.....

Went to check in and get my Merc pre-order Eagle, I'm in the right system, checked local at 2 different stations in that system, both say its 64k LS away, but doesn't say specifically which place its at. I even tried checking the Outposts, but the landing there is broken or something, landed and they never acknowledged my ship, did it twice, nothing.....
So are the Eagles suppose to be in the Shipyard of a station or a Outpost? If outpost, then I am just out of luck cause they won't acknowledge my landing, any directions, suggestion or advice on this ? Thanks.

When you say "they won't acknowledge my landing", what do you mean?

Did you ask for Docking Clearance, and touched down at the indicated pad?

If that doesn't bring up the station menu, that's a known bug they are working on. Lift, turn 180 degrees, touch down again. If that doesn't help, go away a couple hundred meters, cancel docking (the same way you'd be asking for clearance), and repeat.

(And what Cody said, of course. The system map indicates exactly which station in the system your ship is at.)

Or dock at a station and access the shipyard if it has one . There is a tab with ship location with 1 on it . Click that tab and it will tell you where it is . Go to the galaxy map go to the nav tab and type the name of the system where you ship is and click the little arrow and your curser will move to that system. Highlite the system and click the navigate to option and the points will be loaded to your ship . Exit the station and follow the route planned . When you reach the system your other ship is in Im afraid you will have to go to all the stations if there is more than one as it dosnt tell you what station its hiding in lol. It will be a station with a shipyard though of course.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks all, finally got it, flew it around a couple systems, realized it had a tiny cargo and less Jump, so I sold it. Just took that and upgraded my Sidewinder to be a little tougher, aka I'm more of the explorer type, that reinforced hull should come in handy pulling away from suns on jumps :p

I kept my Eagle, but removed the cargo bays. Who needs to carry anything but shields, weapons, a fuel scoop and a KWS! :D
