anyone tried downsampling this game using nvidia DSR or ATI equiv.?
visual quality better or largely the same?

I'm using DSR another way by creating a custom resolution and selecting it in ED on a 1080p monitor. It is noticeably more detailed while having better antialiasing between screen pixels so less sparkles on edges. Details like scratches on the cobra dash on the sides are more defined and some of the lines like supercruise lines look thinner
And what resolution is this pray tell?
4k pushes my GTX970 a little too hard with head tracking at stock speed so I run 1440p scaled down to 1080p in a borderless window. Thats on a 32" monitor.
My GPU, 780 GTX doesn't have DSR
My GPU, 780 GTX doesn't have DSR so not sure if there is another way?
Downsampling gives better image quality.
I use 2880x1620 DSR resolution with 20% DSR smoothness. I have GTX 780 graphics card and a 1080p 27" 120Hz display.
How do you use DSR on a 780? i thought it was only available for 900 series.
It's in NVIDIA Control Panel 3D settings if you have the latest drivers. Enabling DSR disables custom resolutions, but that doesn't matter as DSR does the same thing better.How do you use DSR on a 780? i thought it was only available for 900 series.

I gave DSR 3840x2160 ->1980x1020 a go on my 980.
Image was absolutely brilliant. FPS dropped to 30-40 inside stations though.
