Today isn't an episode of any importance, but instead a Bonus Feature looking at some constellations from the Sol system that many of us would recognize in our night sky today! I take a look at the positions of a handful of star positions and constellations from Earth of 3300, as depicted in Elite: Dangerous to demonstrate how Elite: Dangerous accurately represents the positions of known stars.

The precision and accuracy of the positioning of the stars in our galaxy is astonishing.
Seeing the constellations is one thing, visiting them is another entirely, it's wonderful game.

Indeed! Not every star needs to be perfect, but the ones that are correctly modeled lends so much credibility to the galaxy that it feels like I'm flying through a real place, rather than a mad-up fiction.

Yea, it's definitely sluggish compared to the Cobra, but it more than makes up for it in Jump Range and Cargo Capacity.
