Travelling with 30 Km/s :)

Hi guys..

I'm a real newbie in this game..
I completed my training!
I wanted to try it solo.. and did a jump!

And someone intredicted me.
Killed him. and activated the FSD.
My ship is flying in 30 km/s, and it will take me like forever to reach the station!
Right now i wish i did die in this combat but its all past!

Is there anything i can do?
Resetting the game could also be an option if available :)

It makes me think you might have bugged out, because you would have to throttle up to even activate S/C...

Have you tried logging out and back in again (it will just leave you in space)?

As others have said, stick the ship in 2nd gear and activate the superduperquantummicrodrive.

I'm using my Logitech Freedom wireless joystick..

My throttle is on the top and the shipin my joystick.
But i didnt try the keyboard option.
I will, when i go home, and contact here again.

It's probably because you have reverse throttle on toggle, and it's currently on. You can be in reverse mode, and boost into SC without realizing it's on, and then in SC you will be stuck at 30km/s until you toggle forward thrusters on.

Hmm, that doesn't seem right - it should be the same throttle for both.

Has the wireless connection dropped? ... are you able to control the ship in S/C?

The ship is totally in control.. the throttle works fine but the max speed never exceeds 30 km/s :(

Weird.

In the end if you are stuck then there is always the self-destruct option on the right hand panel, use that and if you have the money you can pay insurance costs to get your ship back.

Do you have your power diverted to Shields and Weapons and none to Engine? (not that I know if this causes SC 30kms)

Edit - Just tested, doesn't affect SC
