Newcomer / Intro Starport Services No Commodities menu option

Title has it all.

Am I being stupid?

Enter starport services and I only have

Home
Repair
Bulletin Board
Contacts
Outfitting
Universal Cartographics

By using the System Map you can check which stations have which services available. Many outposts, those places that don't have an internal docking bay, are missing some services. If you want to be guaranteed to have all the services, head to a star-port.

Thanks guys.
I understand now if the facility is not available it's not in the list. Personally I would prefer to see it there but ghosted out. With maybe a message when you hover over it.
I flew on and docked at a star port and sure enough I can buy goods.

Note to self spend an hour playing with the system map. :)

Wow this game has so much detail. It's going to take weeks to get my head around it.

And after a couple of weeks you will realise how much you dont know and still need to learn ;)

LOL! I had exactly this problem when I first played on Tuesday...

I spawned in a station that had no commodities market. I spent over half an hour repeatedly going through menus when docked trying to find how/where the cargo buying option was. I eventually went onto the internet to watch a video showing that "not all starport services are available at every starport" - including commodities. I slapped my face with my palm, took a mission that included taking scrap from A to B (got cargo for free and 3k credits for doing it).

Unfortunately as a '84er I just assumed every station had a market just like the old days.
