looks like refresh with online/global data

local just seems to be ignoring the input if some data already exist!
just updated "Oleskiw Station" locally nothing changed but when i checked global (sandboxd) it was updated.

there used to be a tool that wolverine used to use to load the db (never used it myself) can you remember what he used or recommend one i can use to check it with

Hi,
the import from OCR Screenis is working now but it does not seem to update the database or timestamp. I still see old prices and very old timestamps..
Flight was from Sol (Galileo) to Groombridge 34 (Jones Estate)....

Want to say many thanks for this great tool Slopey - been using it since Beta! However since the latest versions came out I've noticed that for some reason a number of metals are currently showing in the BPC as Minerals. At least Silver, Cobalt and Palladium are in the wrong categories. Any chance of these being corrected when you have time please Slopey?

Just to add, Platinum is also in Minerals instead of Metals. Also is it possible for you to change the category of 'Drugs'to 'Legal Drugs'

I have an additional question.
I recognized that the tool shows two different profits per round trip when I swap the stations.
Tried that for some combinations and I always get different profits displayed for the "same" round trip..
I am sure I am missing something here but I do not get it..

Check the system and station name are correct in the csv file, the case had to be correct as well (unless Slopey changed that) so Lhs and LHS would stop it reading in the data.

Thank you very much for all your work, the local data option great for my personal use - beats the Excel forms I have been running from early Beta through to release, just resetting after a decision to wipe (not for Elite competition) on release.

I will definitely enjoy this.

Invalid CSV file, but the BPC currently won't tell you that. Most likely, the system/station you've selected isn't in the same case as in the CSV, and remember, you MUST select a system/station before you can import against it.

It's the destination station on the round trip - the current version doesn't show which station it's using for the return, that'll be addressed in the next update.

Can I check a couple of things?

Local Mode

Do you need to un-tick "Auto-Update" each time you start? - my instance seems to try to download each time.
With offline mode and deleted DB - when I come to enter commodities I can select sector & station - but the commodity column is blank - and you cannot enter the text? Is this normal as I have not got any data so the BPC does not know what the commodities are?

Edit: I reset the DB,layout and fields - but still cannot enter station data as the commodity list is blank - I presume this only comes with server download, which I do not want as I only would like a local mode trade log for my journey's and exploration.

Just installed this tool, and it's failing to download the market data over and over? Is there a current problem? Or do I need to fix something my side?

the recent update did something to it. It was working for me too last night. When it's working, it's so much more useful than the in-game galaxy map. This tool should be part of my ship's computer.

Can I check if the 1-2 mins delay in starting and being able to un-tick the auto-update is "normal" - I get an outline box for about 10-15s - then the complete screen for 30-45s when nothing is active - just frozen - then after about 1 min I can select parts of the program?

Not working at all for me at the moment. was all great last night, just logged in and it was grey for ages and non-responsive then downloads failed and would not show location, etc

I also get this issue, but otherwise such a great tool!
