Founder's world ship prices

Anyone know how much cheaper the ships are when purchased at Jameson Memorial, Founder's World?
Thinking of buying an Asp and wouldn't mind a reduced price (yes I have the permit)

I didn't even realise founder world gave discounts on equipment :D

As soon as they fix the 10% discount on the ships I might head on over for my ASP ;)

So, what exactly is a founder - kickstarter backer only or are there some levels of alpha/beta access that qualify?

Did know that either. I've spent over $16M on ships and upgrades since leaving Founder's World. I could have got the same for only (ONLY!!!!) $14.6M.

I feel cheated somehow. Waah

The ships are -0% off. Equipment is -10% off normal price.

If you try to buy a ship and have enough for the discounted price but not the normal price the transaction fails and dumps you back out to the station UI.

If you have enough to cover the full normal price it will buy the new ship, but do the math and you will see you got no discount whatsoever.

It's bugged and been ticketed since Gamma.

Stupid question but does the sale price scale too? I mean can you buy a ship cheap then trade it in next door for the same model and make some money? =p

I am currently doing lots of missions around Founders world to get the Pilot Federation influence up. I can guarantee you that ALL ships and ALL modules and ALL weapons are cheaper here

Come and help the Pilots Federation gain 100% influence....got it to 97% so far!!!

Ship transactions in Jameson Memorial still bugged:

Advertised price for Viper: 128,638
Actual price charged: 142,931
Delta: 14,293 = 10% of 142,931.

Not the ship prices. The advertised price is not what you pay. You get a 10% discount on everything, except the ship price, which is ticketed and currently bugged.

I'm glad FDev ignored that suggestion as it follows no logic. My suggestion would have been to have the ability to buy "super tuned" versions of equipment - as I'd imagine Elite pilots would also be able to squeeze the best out of standard equipment.

It seems to me that only the actual buying price is wrong. The ship value depreciates as soon as you buy one. I.e. if you have bought a ship it selling costs is 10% lower. Moreover, if you upgrade the ship with better equipment and decide to sell a ship with that equipment the 10% depreciation is going to be applied to the equipment as well. So it is a good idea to sell the equipment first if possible.
