I know, but with the systems I know you can fill your Type 6 in half the time as both "rare" traders were in 1 jump range, when filled you do your 160ly trade run whoppdywoo. Got it now ?

well, after trying how much you can gather in one round i have to send a lol in your general direction...
33 rares from all systems in one run and 2 rares would be at its max after 2 runs according to the rules right now, while 3 others would need to visited 16 times (or so) to reach the max, since i got only 1 or 2 each.
that makes 5 jumps where you can almost trade nothing cause except one time its all aggri worlds. you would be jumping around earning nothing while trying to fill up your hold.
prior to 1.02 you would need to make this around 3 times to fill up your type 6, then spend another 20 minutes to fly out 160+ly, another 20 minutes with little profit back.
all in all i would say thats 1,5hours for about 2M profit.
a mod posted in the patch log thread, that he makes 6-7M while playing 2-4h a day, only doing missions in his phyton (i don`t know how that is possible, but thats another point).
now one could argue "hey, 1,5h for 2M is fast cash, i can`t do that amount otherwise in a type 6", but compared to the phyton it actually seems reasonable, doesn`t it?
besides if the whole point of a game is to keep the players in an endless grind (if you want a certain ship+equipment), cause you can`t give another incentive to play the game something is fundamentally wrong with the game design to begin with.
i couldn`t care less about how many anacondas are flying around out there, cause i am playing solo anyways, did anyone that is ranting about making fast cash ever thought about that?
if you don`t want to make fast cash and go the long and grindy way, guess what, its up to you, you are free to do so.
i like to try out things, ships, outfittings, etc. but for that you need cash, loads of cash.
i once tryed a lakon 9, wanted to see if that thing is any good compared to beta times. i bought it, installed upgrades, realized it isn`t any good for me and sold it again. i made 10M loss at that. now if grinding 10M means weeks of grinding, then no thank you i won`t try things any more, especially since the game does a pretty poor job regarding tool tips and explaining ship stats like jump range and max cargo unless you buy it and install the upgrades.
this is not an MMO where you can`t avoid people with big ships that blow you out of the sky just for fun. besides there will always be a bigger fish, no matter what you do and if that is a nasty one you gonna bite the dust regardless...
this was once announced as sand box game, where you can play how you like.... i then wonder why always everyone tries to force his playstyle onto the others.
right now i am pretty much constrained in my gameplay by an overly grindy mechanic that doesn`t even work properly, cause once you step past the cobra mk3 the prices for everything just explode.
