Newcomer / Intro Mission set undockable station

I took a mission from my beginning station, and it sent me to a kandyuk station about 6 ly away. I got there and tried to dock but it said no

The mission was to deliver 3 scrap cargo for recycling. What am I doing wrong here

log out and back in using solo mode, and see if they let you dock.

there is always the possibility that the landing pads are not the right size for the ship you're flying but that i would think is highly unlikely

if you do dock in solo mode, save and make sure you log back in, in open mode before completing the mission objectives.

If docking was denied then it means the station's docking pads were all in use. Re requesting permission can address this when one becomes free or you can change to play solo mode where you won't have to wait.

Fixed it!!! thats so wierd why does it do that? not enough docking pads for all the ships?

Space Traffic control should form a queue of people. Let you know where you are in the queue and provide a countdown as you move up the queue. Also people should automatically be taken to the hanger. Loiterers should be shot.
