Finally made expert last night!

I didn't do a self wipe at release so, I finally moved past compotent to expert bounty hunter last night!

Yay for me! :D

May switch to trading for a while to be able to afford a large ship and move out of a Cobra, until FD puts bigger/multiple targets together for more lucrative bounty fights/rewards.

Love this game, woke up this morning to play before the kids get up :D

Congrats Sanderson! What does your stats page look like? I'm chasing the 'expert' dragon myself and would love to gauge how close I might be.

Congrats and well done,
will keep my eyes open then;)

Sadly i have a very slow progression in the rankings,
profession of choice of heart, you know...?

Congrats! I just turned Competent today, but I did do a self wipe at launch ;) I never did anything else than shoot things out of the....sky?

As soon as I can get in the game (kids getting ready for school) I'll see what my stats are, I believe they're 541 bounties and 2.5+/- credits....

Well done Sir.

You should be able to purchase a Boba Fett bobblehead or something :)

Not much time to play daily but going through novice with bounty and smuggling split half time each.

So it's definitely number of kills not quality?

I have 200 kills and 1.5 mil in bounties claimed and I'm only a novice.

I tend to take out the big ships which include lots of high ranked Condas and such.

Seems I will have to change method and just go for the small fish in massive quantities.

Congrats to you sir!

According to the developers in another thread, it is not pure number of kills, but related to the disparity in rating of the attacker and attacked.
So killing expert/master ships should give more points than harmless/mostly harmless.

I'll experiment later, I'll select only expert/master/elite ranked crims and see what happens.

I was at 541 and 2.7mil. I always try to take out high rank, high value targets but, I will mop up any lingering low "wanted" ships at Nav points/resource sites.

IDK what the formula for ranks is but, IMO there's definitely a "rank/ship" multiplier in it somewhere.

Thanks for all the pats on the back :D
