GGrrrrrr Keep going into text chat.

Hi

Only on my second day but I`m getting really annoyed with the text chat appearing for no reason. It seems to be coming up automatically and I loose control of the ship whilst its up because I`m entering text instead of flying the ship. Today it came up as I was doing a boost thrust manouveur and I smashed into a space port and was destroyed and lost everything. Arrrgh! Sob!
Now as far as i`m aware chat is Enter key, But i`m not going anywhere near this. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Toggling thro the UI brings up chat, if your not careful it can stay on there and mess with some controls, i guess you just found that out

Thanks, I had just discovered what i was doing wrong. When going into the nav panel,etc (ie key 1) I was then using 2 to go back to the front view. But it was actually changing to the comms panel , it was never clear it had selected it. Now i`ll remember to use Shift to go back to the front view. Was so annoying.

I found that hitting the key i used to get to the menu again when i'm done avoids this.
