Frontier support is not exisent. I want a refund

HI guys.
So my problem is i get into the game, but when i press the button start then the game is loading till i crash it on purpose.
i thought it was a problem on my side.
i reinstalled, checked firewall and router. nothing.
then i wrote a ticket.
24 hours later i get the answer i should send them the logfile, which i did. and then i should wait for an update.
which is 6 hours ago.
a lot of my friends can play. i dont.
so i asked support again. but nothing is coming back.
i want my money back. really i dont care whats the problem is.
im finished with products which are broken.

I've submitted tickets and never received a response. No documentation, no manuals, no support.
 
6 hours is not a long time waiting for a reply / response / investigation into your issue.

Patience is a virtue!

Based on the fact that you know a lot of your friends can play, surely you can see that this is not a very common issue otherwise none of your friends would be able to play either.

Before you go on the whole refund band-wagon, firstly note that it is a Friday night in the UK and it's been 6 hours since you gave them the logs.

Games don't generally crash on purpose, just to make your day bad... And how do we know your machine doesn't meet the minimum requirements? (Apologies if your machine is fine!)

Demanding a refund because your issue hasn't been resolved (and it may not even be Frontier's fault), after 6 hours... is frankly a little childish.

Sorry you can't play the game though. Have some patience!
 
They have heaps of tickets to go through, give them time. They already responded to yours and then told you to wait for an update and 6 hours is not long at all.

The product will be broken if all of your friends can't play. This has been a problem with PC gaming since forever, not everyone has the same specs and you can't expect a game to run the same on all machines.
 
i was waiting now for 30 hours. so hm
and many other people dont have the problem
i can play tutorial mode. so it is not a problem on my side.
and really no i cant hear that anymore.
give them time bla bla bla.
i payed for a product to be used by me. i cant do it. which isnt MY PROBLEM!!!!! my pc is ok. i played so it worked. then crash and since then NOTHING.

the game is in beta right.
but i payed it. i can live with bugs. but i can enter the univers. thats a broken product for me.
 
Looks like we won't miss you then with that attitude. This is obviously a PEBKAC issue.

Just because you CAN play the tutorial doesn't mean that there is no problem with your PC. Your comment about 'finished with products that are broken' is just hilarious.
 
I submitted a ticket in beta 1 and got a responce in gamma lol.

Im sure they are not ignoring you on purpose and they are all bleary eyed in the extreme trying to sort the issues some of the new players are having. Wait or just ask for your money back and move on .

Or you could accept that it is 8PM on a Friday and that Frontier, mere days after launch, might not be getting back to you today and perhaps, just perhaps, this is delay is acceptable.

I know it is frustrating not being able to play but consider that if you did get a refund (and it is questionable if you would) you might be denying yourself the pleasure of playing a good game. It would have made more sense for you to start a thread in the appropriate forum asking for advice on how to resolve you issue rather than starting this rather unproductive thread.
 
do i look like if care if you miss me?? or if i care what you are thinking anyway.
the support of that company is bad.
and if i dont get any answer of an support or an moddertor ok. i just tell paypal to get my money back because of betrayl and thats it.
 
Most new games released especially those that are online are "broken" one way or another and time fixes and improves. With the VAST possible combination of configurations of PC's it is a nightmare to write ny code that will run of every one just try writing a website that will run on ALL browsers...good luck.

For starters just saying everyone else is OK and your not tells you something.. that the code is good for most but there IS something relating to your particular rig that has a problem.

So next obvious question is .... What is you rigs configuration and you connection type ?, are you running directly to your router or going through hubs, is your firewall active and have you tried with it disabled etc rather than just spitting your dummy.
