The farmers union of Kappa Fornacis are getting totally obliterated by the Federation.

"Please set your ID's to broadcast to avoid any delays..." said the system defense forces, at a checkpoint near a melting moon.

"We are making sure the right people retain dominance in this galaxy, now and always."

Went to a capital ship battle zone with a Federation battle-cruiser and the farmers were outnumbered 5 to 1.

Couldn't imagine being a farmer, leaving my crops and attempting to fight against these forces of destruction. :S

You know, I'd be happy to even the odds for the farmers a little, but it seems they can't afford to put up decent kill missions. And I'm not about to anger a bunch of Feds for measly vouchers.

I guess I'll just load up on them farmer's produce, you know, potatoes, cabbage, onions, carrots... just a humble onion seller here...

So glad I sold my 19t of Onion Head then..I had left Kappa F..made my 150ly some odd route to another rare trade station and saw the news about how ships with Onion Head cargo would be destroyed on sight if scanned and caught holding the cargo...found a small independent system to sell to and cha ching...

So there is an active battle going on in Kappa right now? I would hate to kill my Farmer suppliers :(

Same here, I would like to get involved but I'm not sure I want to screw up any chance of visiting Federation space going forward.

And I presume this is what would happen if I were to fire on a Federation vessel, even in Independent territory?

If only I had an unmarked ship. =/

I don't think killing Fed military ships outside Federation systems would land you a Federation bounty, but I am also sure they wouldn't like it either. ;)

Right now i am killing feds in kappa's warzone, and my reputation with feds still goes up ! I think acts of war are not taken into account regarding rep.

No idea what the check points do, but as I have been working for the Locals, and they are local run check points, maybe that is why nothing happens.
Took on the FNS Medusa and couldn't even get past her escorts.
I'd need some Wingmen for that one.
Found you can run Onion head from Kappa Fornacis to Meliontit for a reasonable profit and bring personal weapons, and combat stabilizers back if depending if it is trading or missions.
Fact Meliontit also supplies battle weapons, non lethal weapons, reactive armour and other high tech toys for many of the missions the Kappa Fornacis Farmers Union will be issuing

My rep with the Federation didn't change doing the combat missions against them
Guess you are a Lawful combatant.
Plus reading GalNet, the President said the Admiral acted outside of orders with the bombing, so there are probably Federation members who sympathies

Anyone going to be fighting the Federation after the Server Maintenance?
