Alliance Ranking

Hi All,

Shifted base of operations to Alliance space and was trying to work up rep in the alliance systems. Haven't yet seen an Alliance ranking mission - are they in yet? or is it a different mechanic for this faction?

The Alliance doesn't believe in traditional military, or something like that. No, there are no ranks for the alliance, Wish they did, I wanted to join them, oh well maybe after I finish ranking with the empire for the clipper, I'll go get allied with them. ATM it's the only option...

Have got Friendly with the Alliance as a whole, and Allied with the folks that offer the Alioth (Alliance homeworld) system permit so I have the permit. They have no ranks though, just your status toward them. Being something of a roleplayer, despite the game allure of ranks and awarded goodies from the other two factions, I refuse to climb their ladder as my character has principles that they violate So Alliance only for me.

I usually never ally with anyone who supports slavery, but I want the clipper so bad... So I'm actually a spy for the Alliance, working to end slavery from the inside (shhh don't tell..)

WOW good work, I was begining to think the alliance relationship was broken as been doing quests, allied with abou t5 alliance factions now and still neutral. Good to know fridnly is mor3e than a drea,

Though there are no alliance ranks as of yet, to my understanding. You only get rep/standing but no ranks.

No ranks in Alliance yet, but I think they are planned.

I went through 'friendly' with my local Alliance faction and am now 'allied' with them. I get the blue rep arrow but not yet 'friendly' with the Alliance as a whole. Have to be careful around here, some of my allies are wanted and I don't want to ruin my rep by destroying them!
