unable to sell or dump cargo (help!)

in space i cannot dump my cargo
it will disappear then my cargo scoop stops working and when i log off and back on my cargo is back LOL
when i land the market says i have 4 algae
the cargo hold lists 44
i can' t sell any making it impossible to pickup any cargo - unable to complete transaction
effectively making it impossible to play as i have no cargo space .
.
.
usually i would log a ticket but i still had some from October which never got resolved and then just disappeared
AND still have another ticket from ten days ago with status new so I am hoping one of you guys has a work around
so I can play before Star Citizen comes out.

I know that missions that were bugged before were unable to be ejected. Did they maybe come from a mission, your cargo? You might have to abandon the mission or go to where its at to get rid of it. But yeah, you should be able to eject if thats what you want. Its definately a bug.

was my post tl;dr?

it's regular cargo

I wrote a "workaround" above your last post. Other than that i dont think there is anything you can do. I had cargo i couldnt eject and it was thanks to it being part of a mission. Maybe 40 of those cargo is from a mission? Leaving them in where they should go per mission details or abandoning the mission might help. I didnt see you write about any mission so i cant know.

When you say you logged off, did you go all the way out to desktop, or merely to the game menu? If the latter, try restarting from desktop, it sometimes helps. Hope you get it sorted out, I had a similar bug during beta and it was a major pain (for me, what eventually fixed it was dying and rebuying the ship through insurance - I hope you won't need to go that far).

It's a bug that has hit quite a few players in the last hour or so, the servers seemed to have hiccuped. Submit a ticket on the support site. All we can do. Some people are stuck in their lakons etc with a full cargo hold they can't get rid off. A few people have lost all their money with failed transactions (no money being given to them after sale), and 'ghost' cargo popping back in their cargo space that they can't get rid off. So no selling the ship nor swapping it.

I'm personally stuck in my Lakon 6, wanted to swap out to my pimped out Viper but realised I have mission critical cargo that was apparantly 'delivered' and decided it didn't want to leave me. So I have no mission to abandon to get rid of it. It's the damn companion cube from portal all over again :D

But seriously, ticket it ;)

yea well....like i mentioned i already have a ten day old ticket
and had some open ticket dating back to october....tickets don' t do much.
I find it weird there is no-one monitoring the services, what is the response time
supposed to be?
seriously, when my weekend is over, my weekend is over.

Hit and miss, if you ticket has the same title as the thousand other tickets they have to scroll through they just bundle into the pile of 'this problem', not read through every one ;) I've posted 6 tickets in my ED life time, with 3 being addressed as 'resolved' (they were with patches), and one still pending investigation :D

FD are a British company, they will be tucked up in bed right now ;)
