Back when I read the DDA on passengers I thought it sounded really cool and I planned to specialize in luxury passenger service; Passenger service was my thing in FE2. The Orca is described as a passenger ship so how about passenger missions? Or am I missing them because I don't have a good enough rep?

Yes, those are the guys that were saying FD had a secret branch of code that was going to be released on the 16th to amaze us all. They now changed their tune to "it will come next patch/expansion" or "this game is online so it will never be complete, just wait because new levels of awesome are incoming".
That said, I don't think passenger missions were ever a promise for release, just like many other features weren't (e.g. planetary landings).
Heard it here first, ten more days!
