How do you spot griefer cmdr's?

You may find the odd one hanging around the stations in the starter systems, but for the most part, you won't find anything. Your more likely to come across it by chance.

Contrary to the forums, there are hardly any greifers.

People are confusing pirates with greifers because they don't like getting attacked when carrying cargo.

Just saying..

A pirate would ask for the cargo.
A pirate would disable the engines as an "argument" to avoid a bounty for murder (cost money).
A possible griefer would have a 6000cr+ bounty on his head for murder.

Not everyone who kills are greifers.
If a target runs away, then the pirate will open fire and potentially kill the target, hence the bounty gain.

It's possible, but there are a LOT of complaints here on the forum about so-called "greifers" and I'm saying that I have not come across one. And most of these claims of greifing are just pirates.

In Open Play is it the 32 local players on from your real region in life you may meet up with or is it the 32 local players on the Game map?

That`s why i underlined the word "possible".

I have an urge to kill griefers praying on poor noob sideys for sport. Any way to spot these losers?

I would guess they are the ones with big bounties. Grab a KW scanner and start scanning!

Big bounty = no fire by accident

Gentlemen

Whilst I want to applaud your efforts in combatting "griefrs" please be aware that having a large bounty on your head doesnt count as evidence youre one! Bounties can be incurred in many different ways from shooting clean pilots to being caught with a T6 hauller full of stolen goods.

You are free to shoot people with bounties of course as thats the nature of the game :)
