Hello there. Finally got Elite working on my machine and it looks great. Trouble is, for the training mission to get from one starport to another, I can't seem to get OUT of supercruise mode. I've read posts here saying by default, 'C' is the key; That doesn't seem to work. I've checked the 'controls' section of the pause menu, but that only displays a list of the mouse controls - I don't see WHERE I'm supposed to assign 'C' to the supercruise toggle. Any pointers would be well appreciated!

You leave supercrusie using the same key you use to get into it, mine is J or joy 5. hit it twice for an emergency exit from cruise or once when you get with 1M km of your destination. watch your speed on approach to a station or you will overshoot, best is to keep the time on the hud at around 6-8 seconds or the speed in the blue are on the left display. My default was J so no idea where the C came from? hope this helps and good luck, pm me if you are having probs and I will try to help out

Default for both Hyperspace and Super Cruise is actually "J".

In the training mission I entered hyper space through the left-hand UI display, so I did not know what the key to turn in 'on' was. But it looks like J does the trick. In other news, does anyone know how to change the default key controls? I've checked the options/controls page, but it only displays the mouse controls and I don't see a 'next page' button. Cheers.

What do you use? Mouse and keyboard? Or a pad/stick?
top of the options screen is a drop down where you can select your controller then just click on the item you want to map, fire, landing gear etc then select the key you want to use and hey presto, remember to map the landing gear or you end up hovering over the dock for too long and the station shoots you in the bum!! also if you dont retract you cant go very fast.
I can recommend the thrustmaster hotas x for the game, less than £30 on amaazon when I bought it and works well in game, plenty of buttons and easy to map.
