Nevertheless the economy is back in 'boom' state today. I see lots of high demands. Good to see after 14 days of (most likely intentional) recession.

Think its fixed, ain't seeing the 16k avg anymore.

You sure? I now see 16k average for Imperial Slaves almost everywhere.
Checked about 7 systems in a straight row to make sure its quite stable average.

Alright since it's over, I checked about 50 ly around Achenar.
It was from Delta Phoenicis <> Zelacanto. :)

Its constantly changing. The station I'm trading with is now at the usual 10k avergage with medium demand. 10 Minutes later it was 16k with high suppply (from 2mil demand to 5 million supply). At the same time (its an agrar station) sometimes they have tea in very high supply and 10 minutes later its completely gone. Same for other commoditys. Its totally bugged right now. I guess you can just buy some slaves for 10k/t and wait till the bug kicks in to sell them at 16k/t if you so desire.

That's what I did right now :)
I went to a different place closer to my home and there prices goes weird from time to time.
That's strange since such price change should have reasons and there are none.

Maybe the Empire conquered a new system and converted its entire population as imperial slaves...

And then the supply ran out...

:)

PS: That kind of scenario would be sweet...

Something is really weird with this at the moment. I bought a cargo load of Imp Slaves at a station for 10k each. I then had to log off for 45 mins. I've just logged back on and sold them for 16.3k each at the same station I bought them from!
.
The price is fluctuating wildly!

Weird indeed.

One server shows ImpSlaves are imported from system A to B.
Another one show export from B to A C D E.

All this struggling for imperial succession seems to have destabilized the slave market. Each market update is a lottery:
Either there is a low demand for an Gal average of 16K or there is a medium supply for an average of 10K.

The Imperial Slave market is starting to balance out many systems I visited were selling slaves at around 10k to 11k now I revisit them and they are selling slaves at 16k. The stations that buy them though are doing so at 15k. I managed to get a good run in though before they stabalised.

I have found a system though where they all begin from so going to take a look there when the markets settle and see if I can pick some up at source at a decent price.

If you are not a subject of The Empire you are either a current or future slave. The price will always be good as The Empire is known to use up slaves rather quickly. Fortunately they do still have value as a waste product of which the agricultural worlds just can't seem to get enough.

I have special racks in my ship for transporting slaves. I sedate them and stack them in metal racks ten slots high and ten wide. The racks stack like slices of bread in a loaf in my hold. Cleaning the hold after a run is easy. Open it to space and let the Void clean it for you. Takes about an hour for the last ice crystals to drain out of the hold.

I sell them by the stack. Males take up too much room so I prefer females and children 12 to 5 years of age. I get better prices as females have more uses and children are easier to train. Full grown males are the least desirable and are too few per tonne to make them worthwhile.

The Empire has an insatiable thirst for slaves. Much profit to be made.

I'm frankly appalled...

I really want an imperial clipper too - but I don't think I could work for the Empire and still sleep at night....

*ssssshhhhhhhh*
don`t say that so loud, there will be people on the forums running around with pitches and forkes, demanding a nerf, or we will all be flying condas soon!!! hmm "blood-condas"... sounds nasty :p

as a matter of fact, that slave trading is a lot more profitable than rares, since you don`t need to go 160+ly...

i really didn`t want to venture into that sort of business, but FD is really pushing me into it...

There is something hugely wrong here.
I was transporting Imperial Slaves from station A to station B in the same system. Station A had a supplu of 14k slaves for 11k each - average price. Station A buying at 16k.
After a few trips , Station B was now selling them at the same price of station B. So I went to station C to sell at 15.6k, again the same sytem.
After 2 trips, Station A was no longer selling slaves and buying them at 15.6k.

Where did the 14k slaves go ? no way that they have all been sold.
