Yes I do understand the Video Card is a little old but I can run Crysis and Crysis Maximum,X:Rebirth,Borderlands 2,Star Trek Online,EvE Online,MW3,Battlefield 4,Diablo 3 and Expansion,and many other games fine.

Just hope I can run Elite Dangerous.

Have a look at the "signature"

I was running it on athlon dual core, ATI hd4670, 2GB RAM! low graphics setting was running great

So the game scales up or down very fell depending on your hardware.

The minimum specs could be revised down IMO

I have since upgraded, but I'm sure your rig will play it just fine

Curious I am downloading the game right now,Why does it keep accessing my Floppy Drive? Yes lol I have a floppy drive Its for some old games I still like playing

Oh lol When I built the computer I made sure I got a Floppy Drive. Was hard to find the cable for it though,was lucky Newegg.com still sold them.

I hope it doesnt keep accessing the floppy drive when I play,that will be annoying lol.

I had the floppy drive issue as well, problem was solved by putting a floppy disk in the drive

i'm running on a similar setup - W7 64 bit, a medium end i5 processor, 8gb ram paired with an old amd 4890 gpu (the model up from the 4870) and I can run it on high detail at 1080p. So you shouldn't have any problems.

You'll be fine. I'm running on a similar rig (mine was built for BF3...). The difference is mine is an Intel core2duo and an nVidia 8800gts. It runs ok on mid-low settings.
I also have the same stick, it does a good job.

hi I am running on a q8400 4gb and gtx650 ,the gtx is about the same benchmark as the 4870(gpu boss rating)
I have no problems at 1920x1080 ,
I would guess your rig will be even better .hope you have fun good luck
