Newcomer / Intro no "start" button, how do I start the game?

Hi , I managed to login and download, and have completed the forst "basic training" shooting garbage, but there is no "start" button in my main menu, am I being thick? or do I have to complete the training before I can start ?

Did you download both?

When I downloaded, it gave me the option to get the single player training as a separate file. Make sure you have both. In your launcher, it should say:

Start single player training missions
Start Elite : Dangerous

Just make sure you have the right file and that the right one is highlighted when you start the program.

Is there an "Update" button? If so, click it - when the game has updated it will turn into a "Play" button.
