Well, 7 o'clock this morning my three children dived in to a pile of presents like Scrooge McDuck dives in to his money.
Paper went flying, sounds of laughter and fun soon followed. Then after about 10 minutes, there was a pause - my 5 year old had just opened her second electronic pet bird toy.
She looked at it, said she liked it and it was great but her little sister didn't have a pet bird so my 5 year old looked at me and said "My sister can have this one, as I have two and she doesn't have any" and then placed the toy bird in her little sisters stack of opened presents.
My 2 year old, has not put down that bird all day, even after she finally found her own electronic pets (including, a pet bird).
Just thought I'd share my Christmas morning with everyone.
Happy Holidays all.
