mp3 player in the right hand console please

Would be great to have a basic mp3 player for local HDD files in the right hand console, would disable the normal music when used. Would also not work when the cockpit glass is broken

Cdd to that an in-game notepad and I'd finally be happy to play in fullscreen. Maybe integrate a browser too...but that would be too much like EVE (if EVE still does that, not played it in 5yrs).

Options -> Audio -> Music = 0, Alt-Tab, iTunes = Play.

The game shouldn't include something you can achieve without any more effort than setting an option and clicking a button.

You may want to take a look at Overwolf if it's not something you're already familiar with. Overwolf offers a browser amongst other nifty things and for your note taking you can just use your preferred service (One Note, Evernote etc) in the browser itself.

These are your options

1)Get a second monitor
2)All tab
3)Press win key
4)Have another device play music

If you can play it in borderless mode then you can task out easily to other utilities. You can also use either the Steam or OverWolf overlays - and use the browser to control WinAMP via AjaxAMP which is my preferred method even though I can use borderless and task without issue.

I actually like the idea. It would add a tiny bit of immersion to the whole thing. Also, it could fade down when you have voice comms incoming.

Awesome mix Vol.1 anyone?

This was mentioned in one of the suggestions thread. I wouldn't mind seeing it implemented at all. But what I really want to see are some in-game radio stations as you have in Saints Row or GTA. Being able to tune into local broadcasts for music and news would really increase the immersion.

Yeah I think there are advantages over simply running something else in the background.

Think for now I'll just run foobar2k and bind some keyboard shortcuts to a joystick hat

I use voice control to play my music. Send commands to beemusic :) and if i dont like the song i just say "next song" :)

For the people that play with DK2 is something very difficult, try to understand every need. You don't need to be so hard :)

I use the Xion audio player. I chose it because it has global hotkeys that allow me to control it (volume and prev/next) from my X55.
