Broken Missions

Is it me, or is doing missions pointless?

I have only done a few, since the game does not have a lot of content for the new people coming into the game. But the three I have done are broken, IMO.. why give a mission to a player, that is new, send him to deliver some cargo to a place, and that place wont allow you to land. WTH.. why did I even bother.. 3 times now.. take this cargo to this place, they need it.. get there and you are denied access to land.

You only get denied for three reasons

1. You requested docking too far out (request at 8km or less)

2. Your ship is to heavy to land at an outpost (only applies to big ships like the Type-7,Clipper,Type-9)

3. All pads are full. If that is the case switch to SOLO mode if you are not a patient person . Longest I ever waited for a pad is a few minutes, maybe 3 times since Beta.

it finally did let me land..when all pads were empty.. but I have noticed that the economy is not player driven.. the prices are flat everywhere.. but that is for another thread...

4. the server is too bizzy

5. you suffer packets los

the only thing I like to see changed is that when offered a target mission you know what ship they fly before you accept.
twice I got an elite anaconda that was just too powerful to beat on my own.
and getting help is close to impossible unless you use teamspeak.
also these elite anacondas turn just as fast as my maxed out cobra.
nothing like we had in the alpha build were it was possible to stay on its tail.

They are not flat everywhere. I was making half a million every 15 minutes hauling 242T between two stations last night. Have patience, and take the time to look for good routes. Just because you haven't figured out how something works, doesn't mean it's broken...
