Hi I am a cmdr that has a Cobra Mk III and have killed many wanted ships. But I am still a novice. I am wondering. Does the system register the amount of times you collect the bounty or the size? Because the transactions count the collection as one even if it is 40,000 credits. I assume the system thinks the credits are just from one ship and not many. If not can someone correct me.

The level of competence of the opposing pilot factors into it. E.g. taking out an expert counts for more than one which is harmless.

Are you sure? I was under the impression that it went by number of kills, not level of those that you kill.
