i had enough... game over for me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

as i posted this i regretted it allreaddy....

and wanted to delete the post.... but i can't... only a moderator can... (so it will stay here a while... as i assume they have the same responce time on their tickets... )

and i agree with most comments... but i was a little dissapointed at the time i wrote this (a little... ahum...)

maybe when some major issues are solved i give it a new shot... but that won't be this year...

------------------------------------------------------------------------
at game start i made a ticket.... no responce so far...

i got the black screen bug....

well with a workarround i was able to login....

made it with endless trading to an ASP.... but afther login i was shot by the station and there i was back to nothing...
7 million credits down the drain because i could not redeem the ship with the insurance.... back with the free sidewinder...
and not any refund of the made credits...

so i am gonna stop playing the game.... fed up with it really....

pitty, you lose another fan..

Alex, out!

You'll be back....

Each time something like this happens you learn from your mistake (harshly I admit) and once you realize that you'll come back again :p
If the station took you out, you did something wrong. And not saving a buffer to pay for your insurance is error number 2 :)

Just saying. Hope you keep with it, great game.

Oh look folks... another one who can't dust themselves off and carry on... Quitter...!

You'll get nowhere in life by giving up like you've just done... It's all about making progress and suffering setbacks...

Oh and bad move not keeping enough cash back for insurance... You lose any sympathy for being a fiscal imbecile...

Everyone else, let this serve as a warning to you... The lesson's been learned over and over again about keeping enough cash back for insurance and more cargo and yet you continue to ignore the lessons... The net result is you end up winning a free sweatshirt in your thread for your troubles...

Not sure if he didn't have a buffer, or a crash didn't allow him to use insurance.

If he bought a ship without enough to cover insurance (especially having had technical problems) then that was a bit dumb to say the least.

If he had the money but couldn't redeem the insurance because of a crash or something, then that's a different issue.

You didn't say why the station shot you.

Still, good luck in your next game.

You got a Samsung SSD with Samsung magician ?? I had the Black screen, after turning it off, no more Black screens.

it is a shame, the loss aspect of the game can hit you hard, like grinding bounties for a couple of hours and having an npc 180 and boost into you.

unlike the ppl who are just saying 'haha bye' i would offer to send you some credits but ofc I can't :/

Clearly, he never played the older games ... can you imagine the tears with one of those past games?

The limit on the loan is a bit stupid. They should remove the limit and increase the amount of interest you get charged to a more sensible rate. And allow you to pay it off in lump sums etc as well. That would add a new dynamic to the economy in the game. At the moment once you get a large expansive ship you are taking a massive risk just taking it out of space dock. They need to change the loan economy mechanics.

I played the older games and you could rely on a past backup save to get you out of trouble in Frontier and FFE which is what I did A LOT. You cant do that in this game so they need to address that asap or lots of people will get fed up when they lose their large ships. I have no issue with getting them their large ships back but they should have to pay for them in high interest payments.

There's loss in the game; it's an inherent part of the mechanics. Peoples gots to let go of their savegame save-everything mentality for games like these.

The loan amount is only there to help newbs along if the worst happens early on. By the time you get to the Asp you should know better.
You take the same risk with a massive ship as you do with any other if you leave dock without insurance.
