Docking lights - VA Landing assist profile

This is a very basic docking assist profile for Heavy ships 'Large pads only' As I'm sure you already know, AI and Autodock always keep the station green lights to the right when landing. This is not always the best option, for example you will be upside down if approaching pad 10.

The Above profile has an automated docking request and Landing Assist profile.

For Example - If I say 'Pad 10' my ships computer will say ' Landing Pad 10, Green Right, Long approach

If I say 'Pad 39' The computer will say ' Landing Pad 39, Green Left, Short approach

I find it handy for all manual landings, I instantly know which way 'up' the ship should be well before I reach the docking port, also if I have a long or short run within the station I can pre plan my approach speed.

Not a big deal in the smaller ships, but on these big Heavy ships it helps a lot.

9 - Green Right (SHORT APPROACH)
24 - Green Left (SHORT APPROACH)
25 - Green Right (lONG APPROACH)
10 - Green Right (lONG APPROACH) Perfectly alligned with the docking port
39 - Green Left (SHORT APPROACH)
40 - Green Left (LONG APPROACH)

Flying a type 9 by any chance? It's not too bad in the type 7, but in the type 9 it's really useful to enter with the landing pad beneath you. You seem to be missing 2 and 17. And 33.

Hi, yeah I updated my profile with the extra pads. I missed 17! thanks. Am Flying a Clipper & Type 7. I find with those ships it's much better to have the pad beneath you. Can imagine it's much worse in the Type-9!

Yeah, the type 9 rolls so slowly that for 2 and 39 this really does help. I tend to just go with green on the left if the pad is over 20.
