Broken sector, crashed when docking in outer sector, now crashes on join game

As the title says, I was docking at an outpost right on the edge of space to do some exploring in the outer regions

AS soon as I docked, the game crashed to desktop

And now crashes as soon as I press on Solo or Open play

Ive put in a support ticket, but don't expect any reply for a few days

Does anyone know the likely outcome? are the Devs able to rollback the save by a few hours? Move me to another station or prevous location

Or will I have to delete my save and start over?

They've relocated people before.

id give it an hour or two and try again ( ive had this happen a few times, all i can suggest is make note of the server number for me it was 54. something its a digit of numbers) keep trying until u get a different server and i found that i was able to login then and move without dramas. Would seem that or me i have problems with the server with the IP number starting with 54. The other 2 here in australia i tend to get logged into are 32. and 137 and 144 and have far less issues. Could be netcode issues for frontier to address.

Ok cool. yeah the server doesn't seem to change when I close the game, restart computer ect


Is there anyway (Probably not) to force it to change servers?

The sector name was "Kaleo" by the way, so it could be a broken sector if its not a server issue

Ok an update. I validated the game files but the server never changes

Anyone encountered this and found a way around it or know of a way to change the server to try that and see if it makes any difference?

the only thing i can think of is if u can find someway of blocking the specicifc ip address through something on youre pc, that it might select antoher one to communicate with, seems to be the common thing i can find.

The system Kaleo is heavily bugged!
A User had problems with it a week a ago, he opened a thread here on the forum where he described that his savegame is broken too.

I don't find this thread but I have made a note to never enter this system Kaleo !!!
