A couple of day's back a cmdr got stranded without a scoop and 70T of rare goods on board (Nearlly a million credits worth) WE got in contact and arranged a little rescue mission.
Once we had finally arranged to meet I was around 200LY away on my own rare goods run, I set a course to 38 Cassiopeiae and we agreed to meet near the main star. Some twenty minutes later (and careful refueling!) My Imperial Clipper dropped out of warp to meet his type 6, he locked onto my wake and dropped out nearby (Not a single other ship was around)
We lined up and he ejected all his rare goods, I got a lot of practice scooping
Once complete he sadly had to self destruct so I set course to the Earth like world 'New America' We met at low orbit and I began ejecting half his cargo, in the end he only wanted 10T back
Great fun, and a nice little bonus for both of us. Am now docked at Zeessze near New America, and off out for some New Years drinks. All in all a good session and nice example of teamwork. Dev's please add the ability to transfer cargo in dock!
